Shipping Information

Effective March 26, 2020, and until further notice, due to pandemic-related carrier delays throughout the United States, the UPS Service Guarantee for all shipments from any origin to any destination has been suspended. Packages may also experience shipping delays. Expedited Shipping is not available currently. We apologize for any inconvenience

Naturally, with any item, the faster it can be shipped the better. Therefore, we have chosen 3 of the best-known delivery services as our designated carriers. Delivery schedules are based on business days, unless special shipping instructions have been arranged, pickups and/or deliveries will not be made on weekends or holidays.

Upon receipt of your order, please check your merchandise thoroughly. If your items are defective or were damaged during shipping, please contact customer service directly within 14 calendar days at 954-977-3022. After this period a 20% restocking fee will apply. Once customer service is contacted, we will arrange to have your merchandise returned. All items shipped by truck freight must be inspected at the point of delivery. Any visible or concealed damage must be immediately logged with the driver to process a claim. A Return Authorization must be issued through customer service before any merchandise is returned. Merchandise must be unused and in original condition. Please include all original packaging materials, accessories, and manuals. Pending inspection, an exchange, credit, or refund will be issued based on the item value. Return shipping costs on products outside the scope of damages and defects are the customer’s responsibility. Delivery charges are non-refundable.

Delivery Options - Alaska/Hawaii/Puerto Rico

ECONOMY Service is NOT available for Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico. We apologize for the inconvenience.

If you live in Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico you are defaulted to the “Deluxe 2 Day Service”.

The rural areas of states, will incur an additional $12 shipping charge and may even delay shipping time. Depended upon the zip code, you enter on your order form, the rate will be adjusted, accordingly.

Standard Shipping with FedEx Ground is in 1–5 days

Delivery times are within the 48 states, depending on the distance. We will not be providing shipment options to Alaska, Canada due to additional shipping costs. Hawaii and Puerto Rico will arrive in 3–7 business days. Delivery is day-definite, meaning by the end of the scheduled delivery day.

Delivery Schedules:

PO Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO, US Territories

If your only shipping option is a PO Box, or if you are in the military, or located in a US Territory, you must choose Priority Mail as your shipping service.

Economy Service is a lower-cost shipping option that combines the convenience of UPS shipping with USPS final delivery to your mailbox. Economy Service is eligible for packages addressed to ONLY the Continental United States. PO Boxes are also eligible if they are in the Continental US. Some exclusions apply, as noted throughout the website and during the checkout process. Please Note: Economy Service transit times can take several days longer than standard UPS Ground Shipping. Please allow up to 10 Business days of transit time for this shipping method.

Alaska/Hawaii/Puerto Rico 2-day service will incur an additional fee of $12 for each item, after the first item, in your order.

STOGÈS premium cigars and accessories, LLC is required to collect sales tax in certain states including Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming

STOGÈS is not required to collect sales tax in Alaska, Delaware, Florida, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, and Oregon

State Excise Tax Rates for Non-Cigarette Tobacco Products

STOGÈS premium cigars and accessories collect excise tax on your purchases when required by law.

Maryland

The state of Maryland imposes an excise tax on all tobacco products sold by online retailers to Maryland adult consumers. For more information, please see Maryland House Bill 1301

Ohio

The state of Ohio imposes an excise tax on all tobacco products delivered to Ohio adult consumers. For more information, please see Ohio Code 5743.62.

Every state has at least some tax on non-cigarette tobacco products. FL and PA do not tax cigars but do tax other tobacco products (OTP). Although not listed, some localities have a tax on OTP in addition to the state tax

Of those states that tax OTP at a percentage of price, the average rate is roughly 47.4%.
